We asked them about some places to visit, then he told us looking at the clock about a beach not far from here, having a very good restaurant surrounding a small lagoon kind of structure which is best to visit in low tide which will be till 4 pm. Also for the evening, he told us about a beach disco on an island, which recently had opened a place very nearby. It is the same group so he will arrange special and free entry for us, the best crowd and tourists coming here will go there, and a special event is planned tonight there due to being a new year eve, the only warning from him was to stay away from drugs sold around the club. We thanked him and told him to arrange our travel. He told us that he will arrange the hotel speed boat for pick up and drop and we should be ready by 6 pm. We said ok and then our scooty arrived, Puja asked about some shopping place here, to which the lady told us the direction and a market there. We again thanked them and went on our scooty.

On Saturday he(the senior management guy) will be in Gurgaon and requested to meet me personally. He then asked me at what time I will be returning, so I told him it will be around 7.30, so he told me ok try to meet us at LM hotel by 9.30 for dinner if possible. I said ok . and then told me all the best and a happy new year. I wished him the same in advance and he hung up.
A million questions came to my mind but I guessed that maybe I’ll get the regional level position as I had already applied for it in the internal job portal of the company. I was happy but thought about keeping it a secret from Puja, so that I can give her a surprise.
